Alex Frantz is the Director of Local & Sustainability at Midwest Foods, a woman-owned, Chicago-based produce distributor certified at the highest levels for food safety, quality, and sustainability. Alex has worked for a decade to define, market, and source sustainably produced food. As Director of Local & Sustainability, Alex advances Midwest Food's local mission to support farmers and develop the regional supply chain, manages their food waste landfill diversion program, and develops partnerships that bring the work full circle.
