COVID-19 policy

COVID-19 policy for A’22 attendees

All A’22 attendees must provide proof of vaccination or negative test before picking up their conference badge in Chicago. AIA will accept proof of:

    1. Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination per CDC guidelines. This includes all doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible. (Any WHO-approved vaccine will be accepted.)

      OR

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken at or after 9am CT on Tuesday, June 21. Both PCR and over-the-counter antigen tests will be accepted.

    2. Complete a health attestation form at conference badge pick-up.

Although masks are not required, we encourage attendees to wear a mask if they choose.

Vaccine or negative test verification process

AIA is partnering with the HIPAA-compliant service CrowdPass to verify vaccines and negative tests. Attendees who are uploading proof of vaccination can complete verification now. Since verification can take up to 12 hours during busy times and affects when attendees can pick up their conference badge, AIA recommends completing the process as soon as possible to avoid delays on-site in Chicago.

If you do not receive a confirmation after 12 hours, have a special situation (such as a nonstandard vaccination card) and need assistance, or have technical issues, please email CrowdPass.

On-site verification

Attendees who are unable to use CrowdPass can verify their vaccination status or negative test results on-site. However, this process must be completed at the Health Screening Check Point at McCormick Place or the Sheraton Grand before proceeding to registration for conference badge pick up.

Please allow additional time for this option.

Picking up attendee conference badges

Before proceeding to registration to pick up a conference badge, all attendees must have their CrowdPass confirmation or their temporary verification card from manually verifying on-site at an A’22 Health Screening Check Point.

A line checker will review attendee CrowdPass confirmations or temporary verification cards in registration lines.

At registration all attendees must:

  • Sign the Health Attestation form on-site (Preview the form >)
  • Show their A’22 registration QR code or confirmation.

FAQ

9am CT on Tuesday, June 21.

Will AIA provide COVID-19 tests?
AIA is not providing COVID-19 tests. Here is a list of locations near McCormick Place where you can get an over-the-counter or PCR test.

McCormick Place South Building, Level 2.5
McCormick Place South Building, Grand Concourse, Level 3
